Hypothetically Speaking…Are you ready to give up your guns?
Just a quick hypothetical scenario to get you thinking. I am really looking for some comments and feedback.
It’s 6:00 PM on a Wednesday evening. You’ve been home from work for a little over an hour. It was a brutal day at the office and you just want to relax for a while before getting some work done around the house (organize and inventorying your preps, do some research on rainwater harvesting, check on the sprouts you are going to transplant this coming weekend, etc.) before it’s time to turn in for the night. Your two daughters are in their bedrooms working on homework and studying for the next school day. Your wife, who also works, arrived home shortly after you did and is heating up some leftovers in the microwave. Typical activities for a typical weekday evening.
As you are sitting on the couch catching up on the local and national news, (probably not the best place to get your news but then again, this is just a hypothetical situation) there is a knock at the door. You go to see who it is. As you approach the door, you see three police officers standing on your front porch. You open the door and greet the officers and ask how you can be of service. The one standing closest to you greets you formally by using your first and last name. He then proceeds to advise you that due to a recent Executive Order (EO), they have been sent to ask you a few questions about firearms they know you own and, if necessary based on the new EO, confiscate any weapons and ammunition that meet the criteria established by and pursuant to the EO.
How do you respond and what do you do?
[For the sake of this hypothetical scenario, just suppose that local officials have the manpower resources to actually conduct door to door search and seizure. Then again, is there a precedent for door to door search and seizure?]

Patriotism and Conservative Values = Potential Terrorist
These flyers, published by the FBI and the DOJ/OJP/Bureau of Justice Assistance, have been making the rounds on many sites lately. It is somewhat disconcerting to fathom the depths of extreme paranoia and contempt our own Government has for it’s citizens. Obama Signs NDAA Martial Law Bill…
Well, we all knew this would happen. All that talk about veto…bullshit! This is exactly what Dear Leader and his Band of Power-Grabbing Thugs needed. One more nail in the coffin of freedom and liberty. First, FEMA camps are erected/established throughout the country. Next, they are staffed and prepared for “business”.
